Dink and Dine

You are invited to a new Dink and Dine event, to be held on Monday, 2/28/22. There will be two components to the event: an afternoon Dink contest on the courts and an evening Dine event at the Tiki Bar. Again, we will collect food items at each location in lieu of registration fees.

How will it work?

1. Dink - arrive at Court 3 (round robin courts) by 12:45 to sign in. Contest rules will be explained the play begins at 1:00. We will divide players by skill level. Participation capped at 40 players. *** Bring your food items to the court as your admission fee. Donation box will be courtside.

2. Dine - join us at 4:30 at the OV Tiki Bar by the main pool. You will dine and/or drink from the menu as you desire and pay the restaurant directly. Try the ‘New and less sweet’ Pickleball Punch. We are limited to 65 people.

3. Donate - admission for the day is a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Treasure Coast Food Bank. ($5 donation if you prefer). Collection boxes will be in both locations.

Dink & Dine - January 2022

On a brisk January night, 50 OV pickleball enthusiasts dined under the lights at our OV Tiki Bar, in support of the Treasure Coast Food Bank. Nearly 100 non-perishable food items were collected and delivered to the food bank’s Fort Pierce location. Many of the bravest among us also sampled a custom Pickleball Punch, suggested by one of our players and perfected by the Tiki staff. It was the ideal shade of Pickle green! The new OV banner, and the green and yellow pickleball image balloons added a festive air to our soiree. Earlier in the day, more than 75 players participated in our Round Robin, which included alllevels of play throughout the day.

Our next Dink and Dine event will be held February 28 from 4:30 to 6 at the Tiki plus a Dink contest at the courts from 1 to 3. Check at the Recreation office for details and registration.
